After losing six of their first seven games there were many outside the club who had written off the chances of the Newtown Jets, the 2018 losing finalists, at the beginning of May. Yet come October, rugby leagues oldest club were the NRL State Champions having won two grand finals in seven days. Through a never say die attitude, individual brilliance and backed by an ever-present fanatical support, the Jets celebrated one of the most glorious moments in their illustrious history.
